Local roots to global reach: Shaping ANZ universities’ future

THE Campus Live ANZ is the region's leading opportunity for administrative and academic higher education leaders to convene with industry and policy experts to debate and plan how to serve modern-day learners across Australia and New Zealand.

The fifth edition of this annual event will look for solutions to the latest challenges and how to capitalise on opportunities as the sector navigates policy reform, long-term underfunding issues, and changing expectations from cost-conscious learners, all while advocating for equitable access and inclusion for the communities they serve.

Hosted in partnership with the University of Canterbury, this event will offer practical advice on how the sector can adapt to new realities and redefine success through innovative pedagogy and support, technology to enhance operational efficiency, and an international strategy fit for the modern era.

Attendees can expect keynote talks, panel discussions, case studies, workshops, resource spotlights from THE’s Campus platform, and networking opportunities.

Equitable teaching, learning and student support

These sessions will explore how universities can create inclusive and innovative learning environments through leveraging technologies such as AI, upskilling through pathways such as micro-credentials and incorporating indigenous knowledge systems, as well as improving access, retention and engagement through effective support and learner analytics.

    Global impact and international strategy

These sessions will explore how ANZ institutions can build successful global reputations that sustain domestic yield rates while attracting overseas students, navigate migration policies and support diverse international student communities.
