    Important travel advice

For your safety and convenience, we advice taking precaution when travelling to Indonesia. Please take note of the following to make your travel to the country safer and easier.

    • The Bali Provincial Government has introduced a new tourist levy of IDR 150,000 per person to foreign tourists entering Bali. The tourist levy is separate from the e-Visa on Arrival or the Visa on Arrival. Cashless payments can be made online prior to travel or on arrival at designated payment counters at Bali's airport and seaport. See the Bali Provincial Government's official website and FAQs for further information.
    • If you're travelling to Indonesia for tourism, official government duties or business meetings, you can apply for an e-Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) online at least 48 hours before your travel to Indonesia. This also applies if you're transiting through Indonesia at international airports, seaports and land crossings. You can get a Visa on Arrival (VOA) at some international airports, seaports or land crossings.
    • You'll be required to complete an e-customs declaration for arrival. You can complete this within 3 days of departure to Indonesia.

    Accommodation

Delegates are responsible for reserving and covering the cost of accommodation for the duration of their stay.

The event is taking place at the The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, so we recommend that our delegates use this hotel for their accommodation by clicking the black pin on the map below.

If you do not wish to stay at the event hotel, you can use the map below to browse for other hotels and private accommodations nearby. Hover over an accommodation to view travel times and distances to the venue.

    Visas

Some delegates may need a visa to enter Indonesia. Please note that it can take several weeks to process a visa application so early application is recommended.

THE and Universitas Indonesia can provide visa invitation letters to registered delegates when requested, please email a photo/scan of your passport to events@timeshighereducation.com once you have registered.

We cannot accept any responsibility for visa applications. Where a delegate is unable to attend because of failure to obtain a visa on time, the normal cancellation policy for the registration fee will apply.

We recommend having travel insurance for the duration of your visit. Please contact your travel agent for further details
