Inclusive education for the digital age
Digital Universities Asia convened higher education, industry and policy leaders working at the intersection of academic innovation and technology to re-invent institutions as more accessible and inclusive than ever before with the use of the latest digital tools and technologies.
Through thoughtful discussions, case studies and interactive workshops, the event demonstrated how Asia’s higher education sector can harness the power of AI and ground-breaking technologies to create an inclusive and empowering environment for learning and knowledge exchange.
Hosted in partnership with Universitas Indonesia, the event addressed how the region’s institutions can transform and empower staff, faculty and students with the digital skills needed to adapt and thrive in a society dominated by technology.
The event also featured the Digital Universities Asia Start-up Competition, a new THE initiative to find the best pre-seed and seed funding edtech start-ups in the digital learning space looking to bring new ideas to the higher education community.
Entries were judged by THE and our expert panel of judges. Five shortlisted start-ups had the opportunity to join us at the event where they pitched their product or innovation to our panel. The winner was interviewed by a THE journalist and had their story shared with our global digital audience, plus an invitation to join us as a speaker in 2025.
