The pandemic has been felt by nations around the world and, now more than ever, the role of universities will be vital as governments seek to re-build societies, economies, and communities. The crisis has forced university leadership to address long-standing issues in their management and structures, but it has also provided an unexpected opportunity to experiment with new modalities of 21st century higher education.

The THE Leadership & Management Summit 2021, hosted in partnership with the University of Glasgow, challenged the current practices of university leadership and explored:

The summit also featured the live reveal of the THE World Reputation Rankings 2021, which revealed the top universities with the best reputations as determined by academics around the world.
