The agenda features six core tracks, each dedicated to addressing the transformations critical to achieving the SDGs, as well as a series of featured tracks that focus on a hands-on approach to solving the sustainability crisis.
Core tracks
This track focuses on creating a foundation for long-term global development, asking how governments, private sector organisations, academic institutions and civil society can address urban challenges with sustainable, inclusive solutions for funding, policy, governance, planning and equitable service delivery.
This track will explore how cutting-edge innovations in AI, data analytics and digital technology drive solutions for global challenges, from climate action and healthcare to education. Industry leaders will share their latest developments, consider the ethical management of AI and develop strategies to ensure that all communities benefit equally from these advancements.
This track addresses the intersection of nature, biodiversity, food systems, water resources and oceans. Leaders will share insights on innovative research, cross-sector partnerships and practical solutions for safeguarding ecosystems, enhancing food security, improving water management, building finance and fostering climate resilience.
This track determines how we can work together to achieve universal health coverage and health equity. We will focus on harnessing AI and digital innovations to improve diagnostic accuracy, streamline processes, personalise care and expand access to essential health services. We will also consider the policies needed to ensure a healthier, more sustainable future.
Featured tracks
Demonstrating a commitment to sustainability and positive social impact is essential, but providing evidence of this commitment is not always easy. To support the THE Impact Rankings, our data experts will demonstrate how our unique data can help you deliver on the SDGs. Masterclasses, talks, case studies and 1:1 demos will show how to forge strategic partnerships and optimise their sustainability strategies.
This invitation-only track brings business leaders into direct dialogue with peers from higher education, government and civil society to focus on radically accelerating shared sustainability goals through collaborative leadership and systemic change. Inspiring thought leadership will facilitate the exchange of ideas, open discussion of bold strategies and confrontation of the most pressing challenges faced by leaders today, providing solutions for short-term challenges and paths to reach long-term goals.
A pioneering collaboration between Times Higher Education and Poets&Quants where change-makers and thought leaders meet to explore the role of business education in creating a more sustainable, socially responsible future. Interactive sessions will explore the role of business education in environmental and social sustainability within the framework of specific SDGs. We will showcase how cutting-edge, immersive learning technologies are revolutionising business education and training, making it more accessible than ever before.
This specially curated track addresses the impact of reaching net zero on the global workforce, ensuring the next generation has the skills needed to build a sustainable future. Join us as we tackle how to transform the labour market for a clean-energy future and explore the opportunities and challenges of progressing green skills. Interactive sessions will identify best practices for cross-sector collaboration and partnerships to accelerate green skills provision.
The congress will feature the exclusive live reveal of the THE Impact Rankings 2025, the only global performance table that assesses universities against the SDGs, accompanied by a live Q&A session. Over the last five years, the ranking has grown to include 2,152 institutions collecting over a million data points. As the most comprehensive snapshot of any stakeholder contribution globally, the ranking provides detailed analysis and robust insight into higher education's contribution to achieving all 17 SDGs.
This track showcases innovative and impactful sustainability solutions in a dynamic format that allows delegates to form world-class connections across higher education, government and industry. The exhibition will feature six zones dedicated to each of the six core tracks, alongside country pavilions and much more including our Impact Stage, Country Stage and THE DataLabs.
