Covid-19 guidelines
Travellers from mainland China
Normal travel between Hong Kong and mainland China has fully resumed. All boundary control points are open without daily quotas and appointments are not required.
No testing, quarantine or vaccination is required.
Travellers from Taiwan and overseas
All pre-departure and post-arrival testing requirements have been removed. No quarantine or vaccination is required.
Visas
Some delegates may require a visa to enter Hong Kong. Please note that it can take several weeks to process a visa application so early application is recommended.
We can provide letters of invitation for registered delegates when requested, please email a photo/scan of your passport to events@timeshighereducation.com once you have registered.
We cannot accept any responsibility for visa applications. Where a delegate is unable to attend because of failure to obtain a visa on time, the normal cancellation policy for the registration fee will apply.
We recommend having travel insurance for the duration of your visit. Please contact your travel agent for further details
Accommodation
Delegates are responsible for reserving and covering the cost of accommodation for the duration of their stay. The recommended hotel is the Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Sha Tin.

Getting around
Delegates are responsible for their travel arrangements and travel costs.
CUHK is served by MTR East Rail's University Station to the south of the campus as well as several bus and minibus stations. There are also several parking facilities on-site if you wish to drive to the campus.

Public transport
There are plenty of ways to get around Hong Kong, whether by taxi, ferry, rail, bus or tram. The city claims one of the world's safest, most efficient and frequent public transport systems and there are multiple convenient payment methods in the form of cash, Octopus Card and e-Wallet.
