    Revolutionising African higher education

    26 June 2023
    Ashesi University, Accra, Ghana

The inaugural THE Sub-Saharan Africa Universities Forum, hosted at Ashesi University, will focus on what universities in the region need to do to deliver transformational teaching and research, ensure sustainable opportunities for their current students, as well as graduates, and improve citizenship across the continent.

The forum will feature the official launch of the Sub-Saharan Africa University Rankings, the methodology of which was developed by THE’s data team in consultation with a consortium of African and international higher education organisations led by Ashesi University. THE independently managed all data collection and calculations, and the ranking was created in partnership with Mastercard Foundation.
