    ACC Liverpool is a 20-min walk or short taxi ride from Liverpool Lime Street Station. Journeys from London typically take 2h and a half.

     


    By coach

    ACC Liverpool is a 5-min walk from Liverpool One Coach Station which offers long distance coach services.

    By plane

    Liverpool John Lennon Airport is a 20-min taxi ride from the city centre from which the express bus service Route 500 takes ~25 mins to ACC Liverpool.

     


    By bike or scooter

    Dedicated cycle routes and open waterfront boulevards make cycling to ACC Liverpool pleasant and safe. Jump on a Voi bike or scooter and ride around the city completely carbon neutral. You can take your bike for free on ferries and trains in Merseyside. Most stations have free, secure cycle storage.

     


    On foot

    Waterfront boulevards and airy pedestrian plazas make walking to ACC Liverpool enjoyable and safe. Pedestrianised areas around Liverpool ONE link to the ACC Liverpool, as well as the waterfront boulevard and the docks.

    Visas

    Some delegates may require a visa to enter the country. Please note that it can take several weeks to process a visa application so early application is recommended.


     


    We can provide visa invitation letters to delegates when requested. Please email a photo/scan of your passport to events@timeshighereducation.com once you have booked your ticket.

    We cannot accept any responsibility for visa applications. Where a delegate is unable to attend because of failure to obtain a visa on time, the normal cancellation policy for the registration fee will apply.

    British Music Experience

    This museum tells the story of British music through costumes, instruments and memorabilia. See outfits worn by Freddie Mercury, Dusty Springfield, and the Spice Girls, and see musical instruments played by Noel Gallagher and the Sex Pistols. There are even hand-written song lyrics from Adele.


     


    Royal Albert Dock

    Liverpool’s docks dominated global trade by the early 19th century. Opened in 1846, Albert Dock's warehouses were fireproof and secure, traders could do deals before their import taxes were due and hydraulic cranes hauled heavy cargoes across the flagstones.


     


    Tate Liverpool

    Tate Liverpool is the home of British and international modern and contemporary art in the North. It houses the National Collection of Modern and Contemporary Art and is one of the UK's largest galleries of modern and contemporary art outside London.
