Agenda themes
Institutional leadership and practice
How can universities effectively balance faculty support, financial sustainability, and academic excellence to foster student success? Supporting faculty well-being requires integrated, strategic approaches that align human resources, institutional policy and sound business practices to drive institutional success.
Instilling excellence in teaching
Achieving next-level teaching depends on blending innovation with human connection to create engaging, effective and future-ready education that goes beyond traditional lecture-based methods. Explore how schools can embrace technologies, student-centered approaches and real-world applications to shape the next generation of learners.
With additional tracks on
Academic support for today’s learner
The varied needs of today's learners require academic support services that meet them where they are. New technologies and online learning capabilities, such as AI, demonstrate just how much learning and assessment continue to take on new forms. Prioritizing accessible support allows us to ensure no student is left behind.
The college experience
Students expect institutions to have the edge both inside and outside the classroom. This includes a welcoming campus community, dynamic extracurricular activities and opportunities for career development on campus. Colleges and universities that meet these expectations gain a competitive advantage in attracting the next generation of students.
Student health and wellness
Mental well-being and financial health are among the top factors influencing student retention and academic success at most institutions. The correlation between achievement and overall wellness highlights the need for a holistic approach towards student success.
Life after college
Bridging the gap between campus career services and the support students seek remains essential as engagement with these centers is linked to stronger post-graduate outcomes. To best prepare students for life after college, institutions must enhance these connections and integrate career development throughout the student experience.
This was one of the best professional development sessions I've experienced. I will definitely be attending the next one. – Professor, Roane State Community College |
