Citizens of GCC countries do not require a visa or permit or to be sponsored by a national or resident in the UAE. They need to produce their GCC country passport or national ID card at the point of entry into the UAE.

THE and NYUAD can provide visa invitation letters for registered delegates when requested. Please email a photo/scan of your passport to events@timeshighereducation.com once you have registered.
We cannot accept any responsibility for visa applications. Where a delegate is unable to attend because of failure to obtain a visa on time, the normal cancellation policy for the registration fee will apply.

Accommodation
Delegates are responsible for reserving and covering the cost of accommodation for the duration of their stay.
Below you will find the two official event hotels from which a shuttle bus will be provided to and from event venues.

Getting there
Delegates are responsible for their travel arrangements and travel costs to and from Abu Dhabi.
NYU Abu Dhabi is located on Saadiyat Island, a 30-min taxi journey (AED 125-150 with Uber) from the nearest airport, Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH).
Driving from Abu Dhabi
From Mina (port) area or the Abu Dhabi Corniche, take Sheikh Khalifa Bridge onto Sheikh Khalifa Highway.
Take Exit 11 (same exit as St. Regis and Park Hyatt hotels) and turn right following the road signs to the campus.
Drive straight over the bridge then make a left at the first junction.
Passing the campus on your left, make a U-turn to access the parking garages.
Driving from Dubai
Take Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Road toward Abu Dhabi.
On Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Road take the Saadiyat Island Exit or Yas Island Exit onto Sheikh Khalifa Highway.
Take Exit 11 (same exit as St. Regis and Park Hyatt hotels) and turn left following the road signs to the campus.
