Taking on the challenges of a global society, DLSU actively collaborates with international partner institutions such as the ASEAN University Network, of which it is a founding member. It holds the distinction of being the first university in the region to be conferred the Quality Mark at the institutional level by AUN.
Accredited Level IV by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities, DLSU is the first university accorded the highest accreditation status. It is also recognised by the Philippine Commission on Higher Education as having 14 centres of excellence, the highest number of any private university in the country.
All undergraduate engineering programmes at DLSU have been accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, the global accreditor of college and university programmes in applied and natural science, computing, engineering and engineering technology.
As a Catholic, coeducational institution founded in 1911 by the Brothers of the Christian Schools, DLSU continues to pursue Christian educational ideals geared towards social transformation and people empowerment.
Our interdisciplinary researchers solve problems that impact the world. As a top 25 research university, we collaborate with industrial, educational, governmental, and agricultural partners.
