Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) is pleased to host the Times Higher Education (THE) Global AI Summit 2025. In recent years, artificial intelligence has emerged as a transformative force, reshaping industries, redefining human-machine interaction and opening new frontiers of possibility.
TMU and THE recognise the vital role that universities play in AI innovation and education. We are dedicated to supporting institutions as we adapt to this new era, fostering an environment where AI drives groundbreaking research, enhances learning experiences and prepares students for the jobs of tomorrow.
This conference will bring together leading researchers, academics and visionary thinkers to share insights, foster collaboration and chart the course for the future of AI. We will examine not only technical advancements but also the ethical considerations and societal impacts of this rapidly evolving technology, all through the lens of our role as higher education institutions.
We look forward to approaching these topics with enthusiasm and thoughtfulness, as we navigate the exciting yet complex landscape. Together, we will push the boundaries of what's possible to help shape the future of AI for the betterment of society.
