Visas
You do not need a visa if you come from the EU/EFTA member states, the UK or any visa-free country listed by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A travel document valid for at least 6 months after your planned departure date entitles you to enter Germany.
Citizens of other countries must obtain a visa before entering Germany. Please note that it can take up to 15 days to process a Schengen short-stay visa so early application is recommended. Please book an appointment at your embassy at least 4-6 weeks before your planned arrival date.

We can provide visa invitation letters for ticket holders when requested. Please email a photo/scan of your passport to events@timeshighereducation.com once you have booked your ticket.
We cannot accept any responsibility for visa applications. Where a delegate is unable to attend because of failure to obtain a visa on time, the normal cancellation policy for the ticket fee will apply.
Getting there
By public transport from Bremen Airport & Bremen Hbf train station
From Bremen Airport, take tram line 6 towards Bremen Hbf (see the tram timetable).
From Bremen Hbf, regional trains run every 15-30 mins. Take the RS1 train towards Vegesack.
Get off at Schönebeck Station (6th stop). From here it is a 5-min walk to the campus via Schönebecker Straße and Bruno-Bürgel-Straße. Download a campus map.
