Covid-19 safety information

In accordance with the guidelines as set out by the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai, attendees are reminded that it is still mandatory to wear a face mask, including within the summit venue and any public spaces in the hotel you are staying.

Dress code

For the majority of the summit, the dress code is business professional and business casual. For the gala dinner, cocktail attire is recommended. Conservative dress covering arms and legs is recommended for delegates at all times in Dubai.

Delegates are responsible for reserving and covering the cost of accommodation for the duration of their stay.

We recommend staying at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City Hotel as this is where the summit will be taking place. Alternatively, we also recommend the Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City which is in the same complex so will still offer easy access to the summit.

Visa-free entry

Citizens of GCC countries do not require a visa or permit or to be sponsored by a national or resident in the UAE. They need to produce their GCC country passport or national ID card at the point of entry into the UAE.

Visa on arrival

30-day visa on arrival: Some citizens do not require advance visa arrangements to enter the UAE and can obtain a visa upon arrival for 30 days with a 10-day grace period for extension.

90-day visa on arrival: Some citizens do not require advance visa arrangements to enter the UAE and can obtain a visa upon arrival for 90 days.

THE and UAEU cannot accept any responsibility for visa applications. Where a delegate is unable to attend because of failure to obtain a visa on time, the normal cancellation policy for the registration fee will apply.

THE and UAEU can provide letters of invitation for registered delegates when requested.
