Greetings from Washington University in St. Louis
Here at Washington University in St. Louis, we are coalescing around a bold vision for digital transformation as a key pillar of a new strategic plan for our historic university. We are re-conceptualizing how we teach, learn, drive research excellence and create a highly skilled workforce to meet the new digital-first economy of our community and our world head-on.
That is why we are thrilled to host Digital Universities US on May 6–8, 2024, at WashU! We hope you will join us on our beautiful campus bordering Forest Park, the site of the 1904 World’s Fair and one of the nation’s largest urban parks.
Look forward to thought-provoking speakers, lively panel discussions and, most importantly, tools and connections you can take back to your own institutions and put to use no matter where you are on your own digital transformation journey.
Now is a critical, pivotal moment for both higher education and digital technology. It is incumbent on us to understand how to effectively, responsibly and equitably embrace and harness these technologies both within the academy and for the greater good.
On behalf of Washington University in St. Louis, I welcome you to explore that very exciting future with us.
