    FAQs

    How do I get my badge?
    Badges will be available to collect for all registered delegate from the check-in desk in the Great Hall. The check-in desk will be open throughout the event times.

    Do I need to register for specific sessions?
    Sessions are open to all attendees with a badge. The only sessions that require registration are those with a ‘save a seat’ on the agenda or are listed as private session to which you must enquire to attend.

    I can no longer make it, can a colleague take my place?
    If you can no longer attend the event, we can transfer your ticket to a member of your team upon request. Please contact events@timeshighereducation.com

    What food will be served at the event?
    To ensure our event is as sustainable as possible, we will be serving a vegetarian menu across the event. If you have let us know about a dietary requirement, this has been noted with the University of Exeter’s catering team.

    Getting there

    Delegates are responsible for their travel arrangements and travel costs.

    By rail

    Exeter has two railway stations: Exeter St David's Station (main) and Central Station. Exeter St David's Station is a 10-min walk from the Streatham Campus (map available here) and taxis are available at the station.

    The journey time from London Paddington to Exeter is ~2h30.

     


    By coach

    National Express coaches call at Exeter Coach Station which is a short walk to the High Street where you can catch the local D bus to Streatham Campus.

     


    By local bus

    Streatham Campus is served by Stagecoach's D route. The D bus route includes Digby, St Luke’s Campus, the City Centre and Streatham Campus.

     

    By car

    The M4/M5 links Exeter directly to London, the Midlands, South Wales and the North including Scotland. The average journey time from London and the Midlands is 3h.

    Please note that parking on Streatham Campus is very limited.

     


    By taxi

    Apple Taxis Exeter (01392 666 666) have a dedicated taxi rank on Streatham Campus and offices at both Exeter St David's rail station and Exeter International Airport.

     


    By plane

    Direct flights operate into Exeter International Airport from Dublin, Belfast and airports in the UK including Aberdeen, Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Guernsey, Jersey, Newcastle and Norwich.

     

    Accommodation

    Delegates are responsible for reserving and covering the cost of accommodation for the duration of their stay.

    Visas

    Some delegates may need a visa to enter the UK. Please note that it can take several weeks to process a visa application so early application is recommended.


     


    We can provide visa invitation letters to registered delegates when requested, please email a photo/scan of your passport to events@timeshighereducation.com once you have registered.

    We cannot accept any responsibility for visa applications. Where a delegate is unable to attend because of failure to obtain a visa on time, the normal cancellation policy for the registration fee will apply.

    We recommend having travel insurance for the duration of your visit. Please contact your travel agent for further details.
