Its research output has increased tenfold over the past five years, reflecting its growing academic influence regionally and globally.

Guided by its motto “Virtue, Knowledge, Practice”, CityU Macau nurtures future talent with global competitiveness. It offers close to 50 programmes across 11 faculties, catering to a diverse student body of close to 13,000. With three sites in the heart of the city, the university provides a vibrant, multi-campus learning experience for the whole CityU Macau community. It encourages students to stay in tune with the city’s dynamics and provides opportunities for them to engage in research projects that transform knowledge to positively impact people’s lives.

CityU Macau is reaching out boldly to expand its robust global network with universities and industry partners to promote student mobility, multicultural exchange and research development. It now houses 20 distinctive research institutions, many of which are pioneers in the region.
